Free workshop Feb. 11 will help high school students chart their college careers
High school students listen up: Registration is now available for our free College Workshop on Sunday, February 11.
The College Workshop is from 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the City Hall Saddleback Room (across from the Mission Viejo Library) at 200 Civic Center.
Designed to match your personality with a career or major, the free workshop is essential to helping you chart your college career. In fact, studies say more than 80% of college students change their major three to four times during their educational years. These changes cost students and their families time, money, energy and stress.
This workshop will help you understand your personality type, identify your interests and focus on college majors and careers that complement these traits and interests. You'll also learn other considerations not commonly discussed when planning for college.
Registration is available at the "Ask Here" desk in the Mission Viejo Library or by calling 949-830-7100, ext. 5105. Space is limited so don't delay in registering today.
