Fun and educational library celebration April 8

family

The Mission Viejo Library is celebrating National Library Week with a fun event on Friday, April 8 from 5 to 8 pm at Oso Viejo Community Park.

Tale Trail Kick off, 5-6:30 pm

Enjoy games, activities, and snacks on the lawn and partake in interactive storytimes along the newly installed Mission Viejo Tale Trail. The Tale Trail is a story told sequentially through book pages displayed on pedestals along the Upper Oso Creek Trail east of the Village Green. The Tale Trail encourages families to get active, enjoy the City's outdoor offerings, and promote a lifelong love of reading in children. The Tale Trail was made possible by the Kiwanis of Mission Viejo and Eagle Scout Ella Eggert and Eagle Scout Troop 7272.

Constellation Corner, 6:30-8 pm

The Teen Advisory Board invites the community to enjoy an evening under the stars! This fun and interactive program is designed to educate you about the night sky. Participants will learn about constellations, their history, and engage in themed activities and games.

Patrons should bring a chair and blanket. Oso Viejo Community Park is located next to the Norman P. Murray Center, 24932 Veterans Way.
