Fun for the entire family at Wounded Warrior Amputee Softball Game

Family fun

Get ready to be inspired and have fun with the entire family during the 4th annual Veterans Resource Fair and Wounded Warrior Amputee Softball Team matches on Saturday, November 10.

Hosted by Assemblyman Bill Brough and Senator Pat Bates in partnership with the City of Mission Viejo, the event is from noon to 4 p.m. at the Saddleback College Baseball Stadium, 28000 Marguerite Parkway.

The fair will offer health benefits, Veterans Affairs home loans, education benefits, veteran employment services and legal services to military veterans and their families.

However, the highlight of the event is an appearance by the Wounded Warrior Amputee Softball Team, which will face the O.C. All Stars and California Highway Patrol in a double-header that starts at 1 p.m. Admission is free, and the event will include a Kids Zone with inflatables, face painting, balloon animals and temporary tattoos; a barbecue and patriotic event led by KFI Radio host Gary Hoffman.
