Get in the holiday spirit by entering the Annual Holiday Home Lighting Contest

Mission Viejo residents are encouraged to brighten their neighborhoods by competing in the Annual Holiday Home Lighting Contest. Homes must be decorated and applications submitted to the Mission Viejo Activities Committee by 5 pm on Friday, December 2.

Homes will be judged based on categories including Most Creative Use of Lights; Most Creative Theme; Most Traditional/Festive; New Kids on the Block; Showstopper; and Light Up Your Neighborhood Award.

Preliminary judging takes place December 4-5, with the final judging on December 7. Winners will receive prizes, a winner sign for their front yard and a photo. They will also be featured on the holiday driving directions and holiday homes YouTube video.
