Hawaiian guitar guru who has played with Eric Clapton will perform in Mission Viejo Nov. 4
Jeff Peterson, a guitar guru who has played with the likes of Eric Clapton and Boz Scaggs, will grace the Mission Viejo stage when he performs on Saturday, November 4.
Jeff will appear in the popular Lord of the Strings concert that kicks off at 7 p.m. in the Mission Viejo City Council Chamber at 200 Civic Center Drive.
Recognized as one of Hawaii's most versatile musicians, Jeff is at the heart of the Hawaiian music scene today. His passion for the guitar has allowed him to shine as a solo artist and has given him the opportunity to collaborate with artists from around the country and abroad. Through his focus on slack-key guitar, classical and jazz music, Jeff has developed a unique and transcendent voice while being deeply rooted in the traditions of his Hawaiian heritage. Five of Jeff's compositions were featured in the movie "The Descendants" starring George Clooney.
