Join the Mission Viejo Community of Character Committee on Sunday, December 15 for a free afternoon screening of "Home Alone."
Highlighting this month's character trait of "caring," the film follows an 8-year-old troublemaker in his quest to protect his house from a pair of burglars when he is accidentally left home alone by his family during Christmas vacation. This film won Macauley Caulkins the American Comedy Awards' funniest actor in a motion picture award for a leading actor. Its music earned John Williams two Oscar nominations.
The film, which will be shown on a theater-style screen with theater-style seating, starts at 1 pm in the Council Chamber at 200 Civic Center Drive.
