The House of Rock will rock the house during Prelude in the Park July 22
Energy, melody and a distinctively tight rock rhythm. The House of Rock has been blistering Southland venues for more than 7 years. On Saturday, July 22, they will rock the house during Mission Viejo’s Symphony in the Cities and Prelude in the Park event.
Heralded as one of SoCal’s premiere party bands, The House of Rock will perform from 4 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. before Pacific Symphony takes the stage at 7 p.m. at Oso Viejo Community Park, 24932 Veterans Way. The band mixes the best of classic rock, punk, dance and a dash of country back-beat patrons of all ages will enjoy.
Along with great tunes, the City’s annual event – which this year boasts a superhero theme – features fun family activities; a musical playground, tasty fare; gourmet food trucks; and a wine and beer garden.
Shuttle service is available from the Civic Center at 200 Civic Center or concertgoers can get a healthy dose of exercise by riding their bikes to the event.
Volunteers are also sought to fill an array of roles from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. (Volunteers must be at least 15 years old.) Call 949-859-4348, ext. 5609 for information about volunteering.
