'It Could Happen to You' is November's Film of Character
Join the Mission Viejo Community of Character Committee for a free screening of the romantic comedy "It Could Happen to You" on Sunday, November 18 at 2 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chamber.
Based on a true story, the film stars Nicholas Cage as a dedicated policeman who promises to share his lottery ticket with a waitress (Bridget Fonda) in lieu of a tip.
This PG-rated film highlights the character qualities of thankfulness, integrity, caring, service, moral courage, citizenship, respect and perseverance as the policeman and waitress demonstrate all these traits. Background music by Frank Sinatra and Tony Bennett add joy to the film.
The movie will be shown on a theater-size screen with theater-style seating and surround-sound at 200 Civic Center, just across from the Mission Viejo Library.
