Julie Foudy Soccer Camp returns to Mission Viejo July 16

Registration is now open for the annual Julie Foudy Soccer Day Camp at the World Cup Soccer Fields, 27301 La Paz Road. This all day soccer camp runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. July 16 through July 19, and is designed for young girls (ages 8-16).

Created by two-time Olympic Gold Medalist Julie Foudy, the camp welcomes players with mixed abilities and focuses on developing technical and tactical aspects in a functional (game-situation) format. This type of format helps young girls enhance their self-confidence, team-building, decision-making and problem-solving skills while having fun at the same time. 

Participants will also have the opportunity for autographs, photo opportunities, and a Q&A session with National Team players, professional players, and top collegiate players. The week closes with the Julie Foudy World Cup, where parents can watch their daughter play in their very own World Cup tournament.
