July 4th holiday hours in place for some facilities


While the community gears up to celebrate Independence Day in grand style at the Fourth of July Street Faire and Fireworks Spectacular, the City is planning for some facility closures. Please be aware of the following operating hours.
The Norman P. Murray Community and Senior Center is closed on Thursday in observance of Independence Day.  The center reopens Friday at 8 am.  
The Mission Viejo Library is closed on Thursday and reopens to the public at 1 pm on Friday.
The Mission Viejo Animal Services Center is closed on Thursday; however, limited staff will be available to respond to emergency calls only.  The center reopens at 11 am on Friday, July 5.
Independence Day schedules for Recreation & Tennis Centers:
Montanoso Recreation Center is open from 7 am to 3 pm.
Sierra Recreation Center is open from 7 am to 3 pm.
Marguerite Tennis Pavilion is open from 7 am to 2 pm.
Felipe Tennis Center is closed on Thursday.
