Lane closures on northbound I-5 in Mission Viejo Friday and Saturday

The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) has scheduled extended lane closures November 15-16 on northbound Interstate 5 (I-5) in the City of Mission Viejo. Closures will be in place from State Route 73 (SR-73) to Crown Valley Parkway.

The northbound 1-5 HOV, #1 and 2 left lanes will be closed from 8 pm to 9 am Friday, November 15 and from 11 pm to 10 am on Saturday, November 16.

According to Caltrans, there will be intervals of loud noise during construction.

Motorists should obey all posted signs and traffic instructions for the safety of Caltrans crews and travelers. Electronic changeable messages signs will notify drivers of the closure. The work schedule is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather or construction-related issues.
