Lasso is a loving pup waiting for a new home

Lasso, a one-year-old black Labrador Retriever mix, is a fun-loving dog anxiously waiting at the Mission Viejo Animal Services Center for a home of his own.   Lasso is a bundle of energy who would thrive in a home where he could get plenty of exercise and some basic training.   He has a joy for life that is undeniable and contagious, and his polka-dotted feet look like he’s been romping in white paint. Adorable, indeed.

Lasso gets excited when around other dogs, so he’d probably do best in a home by himself or with a female dog equal to his energy level.  Lasso comes with a free training package and has a reduced adoption fee of only $20 for his approved applicant.  Meet Lasso today at the Mission Viejo Animal Services Center, 28095 Hillcrest.

Bikeway Survey

The City of Mission Viejo is developing a Bikeway Master Plan to improve the cycling experience in our community and encourage more people to enjoy riding their bicycles. We are currently in the process of gathering information to understand current cycling trends and preferences in the City.

As part of this effort, beginning on November 8th and running through December 7th, we are seeking resident feedback via a short, online survey. The survey will be available on our website, in our newsletter, and via our social media sites.

The online survey is available at https://tinyurl.com/missionviejobike, and those who participate will qualify for a chance to win a $50 Amazon gift card.
