Library embracing Mental Health Matters Month by offering space, resources to those in need

The Mission Viejo Library is teaming up with Mission Hospital to raise awareness about mental health.

In honor of May as Mental Health Matters Month and the “Each Mind Matters Movement,” the library at 100 Civic Center has created a space and resource area for people who need help or know someone else struggling with mental health issues.

The dedicated space is in the first alcove past the check-out desk. Each Mind Matters encourages people to start conversations, listen openly and support a loved one with mental health challenges.

The library hopes the resources available in this dedicated space can help struggling community members step on the path to better mental health. For more information, email info@eachmindmatters.org.
