Make a list, check it twice to visit Santa’s Arrival Nov. 27

Santa Claus is coming to town!  Don’t miss jolly old St. Nick as he rolls into town in all his glory atop a fire truck at the Mission Viejo Civic Center.  The fun begins at 3 p.m. on Sunday, November 27.

Leading up to his grand arrival is a festive celebration, with craft projects, games and holiday stories for children of all ages.  The main stage entertainment also starts at 3 p.m., featuring many talented local groups, while strolling Dickens Carolers enhance the holiday spirit.  Just after Santa’s grand arrival at around 6 p.m., he will lead children in a dramatic countdown to turn on the holiday lights throughout Mission Viejo.

Setting the scene, the Civic Center is also dotted with merry photos of Santa’s Arrival events from year’s past, in celebration of the 50th anniversary of Mission Viejo’s first homebuyers.
