Mission Viejo rallying behind longtime trainer who suffered a stroke

The Mission Viejo community is rallying behind longtime trainer Jadon Pollard who suffered a stroke last Saturday.

The 48-year-old married father of two young children has been a personal trainer at the City’s Montanoso Recreation Center for the last decade – and has spent more than 30 years in the field helping people get fit and live healthier lives.

Jadon had an ischemic stroke and doctors removed a blood clot through interventional radiology. Shortly after, he responded to the treatment but then took a turn for the worse and his brain began to swell. He had craniotomy to relieve the pressure.

Since his stroke, word has quickly spread through this tight-knit recreation community with people sending prayers and well wishes to the man who is known for his love of family, mountain biking, motorcycles, mixed martial arts and fishing.

A Go Fund Me page has been set up to help fund his medical expenses. You can help the family and keep track of Jadon’s status here.
