Mission Viejo’s Diablos will recognize veterans at Friday’s game against Servite

The Mission Viejo Football Team will pay homage to veterans on Friday, November 10 during the Diablos’ game against Servite High School.

In recognition of Veterans Day and the 242nd anniversary of the United States Marine Corps, the players will sport jerseys from their annual Mission Armed Forces (MAF) event and are inviting veterans to do the same. Folks honored over the years by the football team who wear their MAF jersey will receive a free meal – hot dog or hamburger with chips and a drink.

On Friday, gates open at 5 p.m. with the pre-game show at 7 p.m. and kick-off a half hour later. Tickets are $10. Mission Viejo High School is located at 25025 Chrisanta Drive.
