National Prescription Take-Back Day Oct. 26

The Orange County Sheriff's Department and Drug Enforcement Administration are hosting a National Prescription Medication Take-Back Day on Saturday, October 26 from 10 am to 2 pm in the Mission Viejo City Hall parking lot at 200 Civic Center.

You can drive through and drop off unwanted, unused or expired prescription medications for proper disposal.

No liquids, needles, sharps, or pressure canisters will be accepted. No need to remove medications from the original packaging and containers.

This free service, which allows the public to anonymously discard prescription medications, addresses a vital public safety and public health issue.
