New beneficial resources for veterans include free Retirement Financial Literacy course
If you served our country, you won't want to miss the new Retirement Financial Literacy course designed to provide local veterans with life and retirement planning concepts.
Open to all veterans and their partners, the free program is from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, May 20 at the Norman P. Murray Community Center, 24932 Veterans Way.
Guests will gain valuable strategies for retirement planning, investing and estate planning. This free program is possible thanks to a grant our library secured from the California State Library dubbed "Veterans Connect @ the Library." To register for the Retirement Financial Literacy course, call 949-830-7100, ext. 5105. (Space is limited, so early registration is suggested.)
Along with the free course, the grant also provided the Mission Viejo Library with a host of new veteran resources for job searching, transitioning to civilian life and applying for military benefits. Stop by the library at 100 Civic Center Drive to check them out today.
