New FREE S/B morning shuttle will help students get to Capistrano Valley High School
To accommodate the growing popularity of the City's free MV Shuttle Service, a second southbound morning shuttle has been added to transport students to Capistrano Valley High School before the first bell.
On school days, the second shuttle route begins at 6:45 a.m. at Alicia and Olympiad and arrives at CVHS by 7:25 a.m.
Along with a ride to the high school; Metrolink train station; The Shops at Mission Viejo; Kaleidoscope; and Saddleback College, the shuttle takes residents to Lake Mission Viejo. Other destinations include the Civic Center/Library, YMCA, Marguerite Aquatics Complex/Tennis Pavilion, Casta Del Sol, Market on the Lake shopping center, Marty Russo Youth Athletic Park, Florence Joyner-Olympiad Park and the Olympiad Plaza shopping center.
The colorful shuttles run on compressed natural gas, so they produce far fewer emissions than conventional engine-powered vehicles. The shuttles are a win-win for residents and our environment alike.
