Nighttime full closures on La Paz at I-5 and Alicia northbound freeway ramps planned for Friday

La Paz Road at the I-5 freeway is expected to be completely closed overnight Friday, April 16 from 9 pm to 8 am Saturday, April 17, according to the Orange County Transportation Authority. 

The nighttime full closure is necessary to allow crews to safely perform work on the new bridge deck. Along with the La Paz Road closure, Alicia Parkway northbound off- and on-ramps will also be closed from 11 pm to 5 am. 

Motorists should expect delays and plan alternate routes.
