Nominate a hero for Male & Female Veterans of the Year by Oct. 5

If you know a hero in Mission Viejo, now’s your chance to nominate the individual for our annual Male and Female Veterans of the Year awards.  These are residents who bravely served our country and continue to serve our community by giving back.

We launched this program in 2011 to celebrate local veterans from all wars and conflicts. Since then, veteran honorees have been recognized during our annual Veterans Day ceremony.  

Applications, which are due October 5, are available online and can be dropped off at the Norman P. Murray Community Center at 24932 Veterans Way.
