The California Department of Public Health announced today that effective Wednesday, March 31, Orange County will move into the Orange Tier of the State’s Blueprint for a Safer Economy.

This means many local businesses and activities can either expand capacity or resume operations. Visit the State’s website at https://covid19.ca.gov/safer-economy for information about business and activities under the Orange Tier. You can also visit this page for information.

Community members are reminded to continue wearing a mask, avoiding crowds and poorly ventilated indoor spaces, and practicing physical distancing from people outside your household to help limit the impact of variants circulating in Southern California. Residents who have not yet received a vaccination against COVID-19 are encouraged by the County to register at www.Othena.com to be placed in the virtual waiting room and notified when it is their turn to schedule an appointment. See other available vaccine registration websites in this article.

For more information, contact the County’s COVID-19 hotline at 714-834-2000.
