One of the world’s best acoustic guitarists to perform in Mission Viejo Feb. 16
Guitar genius Brooks Robertson will light up the Mission Viejo stage when he performs a special Lord of the Strings concert on Saturday, February 16.
The concert is at 7 p.m. in the Mission Viejo Council Chamber at 200 Civic Center.
Brooks Robertson has been hailed by many of the world’s best acoustic guitarists as the future of “Fingerstyle Solo Guitar.” His superb technical abilities to play bass, rhythm and melody simultaneously surpasses the normal borders of conventional fingerstyle guitar genres. He merges hauntingly beautiful compositions, country rhythms and jazzy harmonies with funky licks into his very own art form – sometimes delivered with a lightening punch; always with a smile.
Brooks is probably the only person alive capable of playing that fantastic style with the fire and touch of the late great Buster B. Anyone attending this show is sure to experience not only the greatness of the past but the blossoming of a fresh new style and superstar of acoustic guitar.
