Oso Fit Fun Run takes step Saturday, February 29
Lace up your tennis shoes, grab your friends and family members and head to the Oso Fit 5K Fun Run and Community Health for a good cause on Saturday, February 29.
Hosted by the City and Mission Viejo Chamber of Commerce, the event features a 5K and quarter- and half-mile runs along with a popular Community Health Fair. By simply registering for this event, you can support your favorite local nonprofit.
The event kicks off at 7:30 am with the Community Health Fair featuring more than 80 health and wellness organizations offering giveaways, handouts and free health screenings. The 5K run follows at 8:30 am, with the quarter- and half-mile runs beginning at 9:30 am.
Thanks to the Children’s Cerebral Palsy Movement’s support, the children’s course will be accessible for kids of all abilities – even those with braces, crutches, walkers and wheelchairs.
All pre-registration fees will benefit Mission Viejo nonprofits. For more information, visit https://osofit5k.org. You can register and pick up your bib early from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday, February 27 and on race day from 7:30-8:30 am at the Village Green (24932 Veterans Way).
