Patriot Day gathering in Mission Viejo
The City will honor the men, women and children who lost their lives and the heroes who responded to the catastrophic events on 9/11.
The Patriot Day gathering is from 10:30 am to noon Sunday, September 11 at Applegate Park located between Orange County Fire Authority Station 31 and Florence Joyner Park on Olympiad.
Residents will have the chance to pen remembrance messages in reflection of this day and participate in a candle lighting ceremony.
Folks are encouraged to bring chairs and picnic blankets for this simple and reflective ceremony. Parking will be limited.
