‘Pollyanna’ is November’s Free Film of Character

The public is invited to a screening of the delightful feature film “Pollyanna” on Sunday, November 20 at Mission Viejo City Hall.

The event, which begins at 2 p.m., is sponsored by the City’s Community of Character Committee and coincides with November’s character trait of “thankfulness.”

This beloved G-rated classic, starring Haley Mills and Jane Wyman, is the story of a spirited orphan whose positive attitude brightens the life of everyone she meets.  Pollyanna’s “Glad Game” demonstrates how to be grateful for even the smallest things and is a perfect way to welcome Thanksgiving.

The film will be shown on a theater-size screen with theater-style seating and surround-sound at 200 Civic Center, just across from the Mission Viejo Library.

For more information about this free event, call 949-470-3062.
