Pop Up Art in the Park with the Friends of the Arts

The Mission Viejo Friends of the Arts invites the community to get creative in nature with Pop Up Art in the Park events this summer.

Abstract painting – Saturday, May 14 at Aurora Park, 23202 Via Guadix

Create an abstract painting using acrylic paint and no paint brush. Attendees should wear an old shirt to protect clothing.

Explore Gelli plate prints – Saturday, June 11 at Melinda Park, 28951 Melinda Road

Make a Gelli plate print using acrylic paint and materials from nature.

Be a Hero and make a Hero – Saturday, July 9 at La Paws Dog Park, 25100 Felipe Road

Grab your furry friend and head to the dog park for a fun art project cutting out Hero – the mascot for the dog park.

All the Pop Up events are from 10 am to 1 pm. No registration is required.
