ST Patrick's Day Themed Fairy Workshop
Shamrocks, pixie dust and fairies! Build you own personalized St. Patrick's Day fairy home for your house or garden. All materials supplied including pixie dust, just bring your imagination! Cost is $35 plus a $10 material fee due to the instructor for ages 5 and older. The class is offered from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, March 16. (Course #29702

Groutless Mosaics Workshop
Create Mosaics using stained, dichroic - used glass, mirrors, tiles, jewelry, ceramics, glass nuggets, etc. Choices include frames, vases, candle holders, dishes, pots, wood and more. Knitting for beginners
In this entry-level class, you will learn the basic skills you need to begin enjoying the time-honored craft of knitting. Skills you will learn include casting-on, knit stich and binding off. Cost is $80 plus a $15 material fee due to the instructor for ages 12 and older. This class is from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesdays, March 5-26. Macramé Dream Catcher Workshop
You will make a macramé dream catcher with an 8-inch metal ring that is gorgeous to use as a wall display or to hang bows in a girl's room. Cost is $20 plus a $20 material fee due to the instructor for ages 13 and older. This class is from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, March 9. (Course #29617

Magic Mushroom Pen Set
Create a whimsical yet lovely magic mushroom pen set using recycled and natural materials. Sculpt your own fantastical stand using paper pulp, quartz crystals and more. Basic Elements of Design and Color
Learn to create artwork that awakens emotional response by using basic elements of design and color with pencil, ink and gouache. Cost is $100 plus a $35 material fee due to the instructor for ages 16 and older. This class is on Mondays from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. March 4 to April 8. (Course #29659)

Pottery Workshop for Adults
Adults learn hand-building ceramic clay techniques and experience throwing clay pots on the potter's wheel. Then glaze your beautiful handmade pieces and take them home. Still-Life and Landscape Oil Painting

Mandala Art with Colored Pencils
Learn simple design, layout and shading techniques to create a vibrant 8-inch-square mandala with colored pencils on black paper. No art experience required. Street Painting With Maribeth McFaul

Encaustic Melted Wax Painting
Learn how to create beautiful abstracted layered wax pieces of art using lots of texture and color. Try something new and make a great work of art! Glass Fusing Explorations
What is fusible art glass? Artist Jackie Zimbalist demystifies the process and answers your questions about what is involved in putting together glass bowls, plates and other glass objects without using a blazing hot furnace or a torch. Class participants will assemble several items for later pick-up. The cost is $50 plus a $25 material fee due to the instructor for ages 9 and older. Sumi -Painting and Japanese Calligraphy

Landscape and Travel Photography

Open Studio Drawing and painting
Open studio is an opportunity for people with painting or drawing experience to independently pursue their art projects in the company of fellow artists. Facilitated by art instructors and volunteers, the class includes a $40 punch card for four sessions or $80 punch card for 10 sessions for ages 18 and older. This class is from January 1- 31. Pottery Studio Time
Open Studio time is now available for people with pottery experience. Work alongside fellow hobbyists and explore your creativity. Cost is a $36 punch card for three sessions, $75 punch card for five sessions or $120 punch card for 10 sessions for ages 15 and older. This class is held on Mondays from noon to 4 p.m. and Thursdays from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. This class is from January 1 - 31. (Call 949-470-8470 for information.)
