Summer Fairy Garden Workshop 

Build your own summer Fairy garden complete with magical fairy rocks, a chaise lounge chair and succulents. The planter soil, materials and your own personalized fairy home are supplied, so just bring your imagination. Cost is $35 plus a $10 material fee due to the instructor for age 5 and older. Beginning Ukulele

Just one strum of the ukulele brings on a smile. Bring your ukulele and enjoy learning to play the world’s easiest string instrument in a supportive small-group setting. Cost is $99 for age 10 and older. The class is from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Thursdays, June 13-18. (Course #35733)

Beginning Guitar

Enjoy learning to play easy cords, fun melodies, strum styles and many popular tunes in a small, supportive group environment. Bring your own guitar and have fun! Cost is $99 for ages 10 and older. The class is from 7:30-8:30 p.m. on Thursdays, June 13 to July 18. (Course #35734)

Let’s Play Music

Kids ages 4-6 will enjoy this fun piano-prep music theory course focused on experiencing music through solfege hand signs, folk songs, games, imagination and creativity! Cost is $300 for ages 4-6. This class is from 10-11 a.m. on Fridays, June 7 to August 30. (Course #35736)

Knitting for Beginners

Enjoy this entry-level class, you will learn the basic skills you need to begin enjoying the time-honored craft of knitting. Skills you will learn include casting-on, knit stitch, purl stitch and binding off. All supplies provided. Cost is $70 plus a $15 material fee due to the instructor for ages 12 and older. Knitting Beyond Beginners

Take your knitting to the next level! In this class, you will learn how to increase, decrease and combine stiches as well as read knitting charts. All supplies provided. Beginning Jewelry Making

This introduction to jewelry making covers basic techniques working with tools and beading materials. Participants will enjoy creating “do-it-yourself” bracelets, earrings, pendants and necklaces. The Magic of Collagraph Printmaking

Beautiful collagraph prints are made by gluing different materials to cardboard and creating a collage. The final print is made by using brayers, inks and paper. Geode & Gem “Pulp-Stone” Pendant Workshop                                                                                                                             

Create stunning one-of-a-kind wearable works of art using recycled paper “pulp stones” and colorful glass crystals. Macramé Plant Hanger Workshop

You will learn the basic knots to make a macramé plant hanger for a 6-10” pot and leave with the skills to create your own plant hangers at home. All materials are provided. Intro to Lapidary: Stone Pendants

Learn to use a professional flat lapidary equipment to shape, sand and polish a rough semi-precious stone into a beautiful gem pendant. Cost is $40 plus a $15 material fee due to the instructor for age 16 and older. This class is from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 29. (Course #35829)

Basic Elements and Principles of Design

Learn the elements of design and use them to create artwork using pencils, markers and watercolor that inspires desired emotional response. Cost is $90 plus a $35 material fee due to the instructor for ages 16 and older. This class is from 6-8 p.m. on Mondays from June 3 to July 8. (Course #35951)

The Influence of Color

Learn how colors evoke appropriate emotional reactions using lighting, clothing, artwork, photography, room colors and other surroundings. Experience your emotional reaction to light color changes. Cost is $35 plus a $5 material fee due to the instructor for adults 18 and older. This class is from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, June 4. (Course #35952)

Young Rembrandts Curious George

Each day, we will read one of the books in this classic children’s book series and then work together on drawings inspired by that day’s story. Cost is $79 for ages 4-7. This class is from 10-11:30 a.m. on Tuesdays, June 18 to July 16. (Course #35957)

Landscape and Travel Photography

This class focuses on storytelling and creating moods using your camera with composition, perspective, color and light. Friendly critiques included. Cost is $55 for age 16 and older. This class is from 6-9 p.m. on Tuesdays, June 4-18. (Course #35840)  

Pottery Mug Workshop for Adults

Adults learn to build mugs using clay slab techniques and experience throwing clay pots on the potter’s wheel. They glaze and take their beautiful handmade pieces home. Still-Life and Landscape Oil Painting

Learn how to translate a photograph into a compelling painting and set-up and compose subjects for a still-life painting. Artist Ebrahim Amin will demonstrate his style and process of painting. Sumi –Painting and Japanese Calligraphy

Early Childhood Art and Book Reading

Open Studio Drawing and painting

Open studio is an opportunity for people with painting or drawing experience to independently pursue their art projects in the company of fellow artists. Facilitated by art instructors and volunteers, the class includes a $40 punch card for four sessions or $80 punch card for 10 sessions for adults 18 and older. This class is from May 1-31. Pottery Studio Time

Open Studio time is now available for people with pottery experience. Work alongside fellow hobbyists and explore your creativity. Cost is a $36 punch card for three sessions, $75 punch card for five sessions or $120 punch card for 10 sessions for age 15 and older.
