Prince deserves a forever, loving home
Prince is a goofy and playful pit bull-America bulldog mix with adorable slightly crossed eyes.
Brought to the Mission Viejo Animal Services Center as a stray, he was covered in bite wounds of differing ages and depths - one so serious it caused a deep infection and lameness in his front leg.
Prince received immediate medical attention and is now completely healed. However, since he had several bites, it appears he was either used as a bait dog or fighter. The center needed to ensure Prince would be safe around other dogs, so after consulting with a professional trainer and behavior modification plan, it was clear he likes some other dogs, especially smaller ones. He will play bow and invite interactions with other dogs on leash. Prince does remain a bit reactive with other male dogs, so a smaller female dog would be the best match for him. He will make a great companion for an experienced owner. He loves to play with toys and go for walks. He knows "sit" and "shake" and is extremely motivated by treats. His adoption fee is only $20 for an approved adopter.
Prince deserves to be treated like the prince that he is. If you are interested in adopting him, visit cmvas.org for more information.
