'Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer' & Santa on Dec. 16
Savor the magic of the season by watching "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" on Sunday, December 16 at Mission Viejo City Hall as part of a free movie series sponsored by the City's Community of Character Committee. Santa Claus will make a special appearance at the event, which starts at 2 p.m.
An animated feature the whole family will enjoy, this 1964 movie stars Burl Ives as Sam the Snowman who tells the story of how Rudolph became "the most famous reindeer of all." Taunted for his unusual red nose, Rudolph learns how to turn seeming negatives into extraordinary positives.
The film will be shown on a theater-size screen with theater-style seating and surround-sound at 200 Civic Center, just across from the Mission Viejo Library.
