See Charlie Brown holiday classics November 19

Get into the holiday spirit by seeing two Charles Schulz classic animated films as part of the free Films of Character on Sunday, November 19. 

The fun starts at 1:15 pm in the Council Chamber at 200 Civic Center.  

Guests will enjoy "A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving - The Mayflower Voyagers."  The Peanuts gang tell the story of the 1620 Mayflower voyage from England to the new world detailing the hardships they faced, how the natives helped them survive, and about the feast of Thanksgiving. 

"A Charlie Brown Christmas" follows focusing on how Charlie Brown tries to find a deeper meaning to Christmas after being depressed at the commercialism around him. 

Along with the films, guests will receive goody bags, learn some trivia, sing songs, enjoy time with family and friends and maybe even meet a surprise guest.
