These ‘Golden Girls’ are looking for a calm, quiet home
Meet sweet 12-year-old sisters Cheeky and Koukla – the perfect pair for a calm adult home. Cheeky is a brown tabby domestic shorthair while Koukla is a silver tabby domestic shorthair.
Cheeky and Koukla were brought to the Mission Viejo Animal Services Center because their owner had emergency medical issues and could no longer care for them. These sweet sisters are from the same litter and have been with each other their entire lives.
Cheeky is more of an introvert who loves to spend time with her sister but will occasionally jump on a lap to enjoy pets. Koukla, on the other hand, is more confident, friendly and curious. Both cats love to be pet and enjoy relaxing on a cat tree near a window. They may take some time to open up, but once they start feeling comfortable, they will love exploring their new home and enjoying your company.
Thanks to the center’s nonprofit DAWG, both cats had full senior blood panels and complete dentals and are ready to go to their new home together. DAWG is sponsoring most of their adoption fees, so they will go home with an approved applicant for only $40.
