Trees and wreaths will support City's Adopted Marine Battalion

You can make the holidays brighter for members of our adopted troops through a special promotion this season.

Simply purchase a tree or wreath through Rudy’s Christmas Trees’ website, and the business will donate a portion of the proceeds to benefit the City's adopted Headquarters Battalion, 1st Marine Division.

Trees and wreaths can be picked up between 8 am and 2 pm on December 2 in the Mission Viejo Civic Center parking lot. Marines will be on hand to load them into or on top of your vehicle. 

The Marine Adoption Committee will use the proceeds to support year-round programs like holiday events, care packages, baby baskets, annual Day at the Lake event, and more.   

Folks also have the opportunity to purchase trees and wreaths to donate directly to Marines and their families for the holidays. 

In addition to these programs, the City of Mission Viejo and Marine Adoption Committee will offer other programs to support our Marines this holiday season including the annual toy drive and Adopt-a-Marine Family program.  For more information, contact 949-470-3061 or rcs@cityofmissionviejo.org.
