Watch a comedy & learn about scam prevention March 18

The public is invited to a free screening of the hilarious comedy “Dirty Rotten Scoundrels” starring Steve Martin and Michael Caine on Sunday, March 18.  The event, which begins at 2 p.m., is sponsored by the City’s Community of Character Committee and coincides with this month’s character theme of “integrity.”

Filmed in France, this PG-rated film is about two con men betting on who will be the first to swindle a young American heiress out of a large amount of money.  Following the screening, Mission Viejo Crime Prevention Specialists will be on hand to talk about the latest scams and how to avoid becoming a victim.

The film will be shown on a large screen with theater-style seating and surround-sound at 200 Civic Center, just across from the Mission Viejo Library.

For more information about this free event, call 949-830-7100, ext. 5128.
