Work on Crown Valley Bridge slated to start mid-month

bridge at crown valley

OC Public Works will begin a project this month to complete routine repairs to the Crown Valley Parkway Bridge to extend its service life and maintain safe operation. The repair work, which starts mid-month includes cleaning the bridge's expansion joints and replacing joint seals.

The projects takes place in an unincorporated area of the county next to the City of Mission Viejo. The roughly 6-week project will take place Monday through Saturday from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and is expected to cause traffic delays for motorists who use Crown Valley Parkway. Lane closures and traffic control measures will be in place using k-rail barriers and reduced speed limits for the safety of workers. Two lanes in each direction will remain open but allow for additional traffic time as needed.
