Sweet Cricket needs a loving home

Meet Cricket, a sweet 2-year-old Black Labrador mix waiting for her forever home.  It's a mystery why Cricket hasn't yet been adopted because she has a great disposition and would make a loyal and loving companion.   

Found running loose in the Inland Empire, Cricket was pregnant when she was taken to the Riverside Animal Shelter. The shelter reached out to its adoption partners, so Cricket could have her puppies outside the shelter. Our staff was able to transport her to one of our foster homes where she gave birth and nursed her puppies. All her pups were adopted long ago, but Cricket is still at the Mission Viejo Animal Services Center.  

Before delivering her pups, Cricket was fine with other dogs but has become pickier, so she would do best as the only dog in the home.
