Relay For Life returns to Mission Viejo Aug. 28

survivor lap

Join cancer survivors, caregivers and community members at the Relay For Life of South Orange County on Saturday, August 28 from 2 to 10 pm on the Village Green at Oso Viejo Community Park.

The event, which raises funds for cancer research and programs, kicks off at 2 pm with a ceremony and first lap celebrating cancer survivors and caregivers.

The special event includes activities for all ages; education; and entertainment while participants walk or run the track. The night ends with the popular luminaria ceremony - where hundreds of luminarias are lit, displaying the names and messages of all those remembered who have passed from cancer.

To register as a team, participant, cancer survivor or caregiver, visit http://socrfl.org.

Oso Viejo Community Park is located next to the Norman P. Murray Community and Senior Center at 24932 Veterans Way. For more information, email 2021socrfl@gmail.com.
