Free family-friendly concert under the stars Saturday Aug. 21

Get ready for an acoustic experience when the talented Sierra band performs a free summer concert under the stars on Saturday, August 21 at the Potocki Center for the Arts, 27301 La Paz Road. 

Sponsored by Library and Cultural Services, the concert on the patio kicks off at 7:30 pm with this popular local band featuring Armando Nunez, Rocky Salazar and Richard Avalos. 

Sierra covers an eclectic array of musical styles from Frank Sinatra to Bruno Mars with a sprinkle of salsa.

The band recently rocked concert-goers during the Symphony in the Cities and Prelude in the Park event.

Seating is available on the patio and grass with wine and beer available for purchase. Before the concert begins, patrons can peruse items from a couple artisan vendors boasting one-of-a-kind items starting at 7 pm.
