Save the date for Mission Viejo Library’s 20th Anniversary Celebration Oct. 14

Planning is underway for an exciting community celebration this fall that will mark the Mission Viejo Library’s 20th anniversary.

The celebration takes place 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 14 and will feature a cornucopia of free programs for kids and adults along with giveaways.  Food trucks will sell tasty fare throughout the day, and a live band performance by 80'z All-Stars will culminate the festivities.  Beer and wine will be available during the concert.  Bring low-back chairs or blankets for concert seating.

The event will also include tours of this City of Mission Viejo facility that first opened its doors in October 1997. Over the past two decades, the building and library’s collection, programs and services have expanded to serve a growing population. What hasn’t changed is the City’s commitment to providing the best services possible to this community.
