Country Fair benefits Second Harvest Food Bank
Stratford School Mission Viejo invites the community to come and enjoy an evening of good old-fashioned family fun at its annual Country Fair on Friday, November 3, 2017, from 4:30-8:30 p.m. Entrance to the event is free and open to the public.
This year's event will be held in Stratford's Pioneer Park, the school's three-acre riparian habitat and play area. The Country Fair committee is taking advantage of the park's natural environment by installing lights among the trees to create a magical and enchanting setting.
Live pop country music provided by "Smith" Country Band will set the tone for the evening and a wide variety of activities fit for the whole family will also be available, including a bungee trampoline, line dancing, face painting, town jail and a variety of carnival games hosted by Stratford students and families.
The "chuck wagon" provided by In-n-Out will offer meals for purchase, and guests can also enjoy treats from the bake sale and cake walk. Proceeds from the Bake Sale will benefit the Second Harvest Food Bank.
All the booths at the fair are created and staffed by Stratford Mission Viejo students and their families. "The Country Fair is a great example of our approach to service and community," said P.L. de Avila, Stratford Head of School. "Students are engaged in the planning, creating and staffing of the event, which provides them the opportunity to put their classroom skills into practice while serving their school."
Stratford School is located at 24741 Chrisanta Drive. Please RSVP here or call 949-458-1776 for more information.
