Sponsorship Application

I fully understand that my participation/my organization’s/my business' participation in the City of Mission Viejo and City of Mission Viejo sponsored events (hereinafter "events") exposes me to the risk of personal injury, death, communicable diseases, illnesses, viruses, or property damage/loss. I hereby release, discharge and agree not to sue the City of Mission Viejo and/or its officers, officials, employees, agents, and volunteers for any injury, death, or damage to or loss of personal property arising out of, or in connection with, my participation in City events, from whatever cause, including the active or passive negligence of the City of Mission Viejo or any other participants in these events. The parties to this agreement understand that this document is not intended to release any party from any act or omission of "gross negligence," as that term is used in applicable case law and/or statutory provision. In consideration for being permitted to participate in these events, I hereby agree for myself, my heirs, administrators, executors and assigns that I shall indemnify and hold harmless the City of Mission Viejo and its officers, officials, employees, agents, and volunteers from any and all claims, demands, actions or suits arising out of or in connection with my participation in these events.

Photo Release: I hereby irrevocably give consent to the City, its employees, officers, officials, agents, or representatives to use, authorize and assign unlimited permission to use, publish, and republish for any purpose whatsoever by City, or anyone authorized by City, any and all video and/or photographs, which the City, its employees, officers, officials, agents, or representatives have taken of me, negative or positive, without further compensation to me. All video and photographs, including negatives, prints, and digital storage of such shall constitute the property of City.
