Here are the winners of Mission Viejo's inaugural Scarecrow Contest

Drum roll please "¦ and the winners of the City's inaugural Scarecrow Contest are:

  • Best Traditional:  "Autism Rocks" by La Paz Intermediate School
  • Spookiest: "Pineapple Unicorn" by Girl Scout Troop 3508
  • Most Humorous: "Head Over Heels for Volunteering" by Mission Viejo Activities Committee
  • People's Choice: "The Scary Crow" by Boy Scout Troup 787

More than 5,000 people cast their vote in this first-time contest designed to build community. The winners will receive cash prizes donated by the Friends of the Arts.
