Valentine's Day fun on tap Feb. 14

In honor of Valentine’s Day, the City is offering residents some fun events and the chance to get fit.  

Valentine’s Day Line Dancing Pop-up 

Put on your dancing boots, dress in red and white and join us for a fun Valentine’s Day line dancing class offered by instructor Carrie Wojo at the North Paseo, 25282 Marguerite Parkway. The free hour-long class takes step at 1 pm offering easy-to-follow, step-by-step choreography and great music. Whether you’re experienced or new to the dance floor, the class is for anyone who loves to dance. Free treats will be provided while supplies last. No registration required. 

Valentine’s Day Pop-up 

Folks are also invited to stop by the Norman P. Murray Senior Center on Valentine’s Day between 10:30 and 11:30 am for fun giveaways provided by Memorial Care. A valentine-themed photo booth and props will be available for participants to take fun photos. A free valentine treat will be offered while supplies last. 

Valentine's Dining and Dancing 

In addition, the Norman P. Murray Center is hosting a lunch at 11:30 am that will feature a special dance demonstration that will teach basic dance moves. To attend the luncheon, the suggested contribution for people 60 and older is $5.50; and $7.50 for others. Reservations are required by noon on February 12 by contacting 949-470-3063 or mvc1@myagewell.org

Valentine’s Fitness Special   

Along with these fun events, you can share the love of recreation and fitness this Valentine’s Day through a special fitness promotion. From February 13-19, members of the Montanoso and Sierra Recreation Centers can get one guest in for free or receive a free month on their membership if they bring a guest who signs up for a membership. The promotion will give you the chance to enjoy all the amenities including heated pools, gyms, fitness classes and more.
