New restaurants opening in Mission Viejo

I hope this restaurant unit has decent management. Their Tustin store is so poorly run and the employees lack training. The cashiers there can’t even count change or read the ticket numbers correctly.

We need some upscale restaurants… mot more butgers and tacos.

No more hamburgers, fried chicken, french fries, tacos. . . . . Ugh. Sit down restaurants please, no more fast food in MV.

Mission Viejo has the worst selection of restaurants in south Orange County. We mostly dine in RSM and Irvine. It would be nice to have some higher end restaurants and some good breweries rather more fast food joints.

Please find better quality restuarants. We need upscale sit down places. Laguna Niguel and Aliso Viejo have some wonderful options. So does San Clemente. If we want to compete for tax dollars we should be actively trying to bring better quality to our city.

Oh my that does not look like good healthy food. Popeye's food looks more appealing. Yes, please try to secure some decent restaurants for MV...Agree with above comments, that better quality food options needs to be brought in, and not at the Mall or Kaleidescope locations either.

Neighbors. While I agree that we need up scale restaurants the City does not own all of the private land in the city. The Chamber of Commerce and the property management firms are the one"s to contact. As a charter member of our Chamber their focus was more about ribbon cuttings than marketing our city.
The Irvine Company has a huge advantage in that they own their centers where they can be more engaged in new businesses.

So tired of places that serve unhealthy food around here - we end up driving out of MV to more health conscience places so our money goes to other cities. Doctors are prescribing statins like candy now due to all the increases in heart related issues - when are we as a city actually going to take people's health seriously??

Maybe the City is not as business friendly as it keeps telling us. A $10,000 "donation" for the arts is quite a deterrent to open a business in the City.

Also, the council ought to request an audit for the successes or failures of all of the various economic consultants hired to promote economic development in our City.

Lot's of negativity in this thread, if you don't like these restaurants, don't eat there. If you want better restaurants, open them yourselves. I appreciate any small business owner who takes risks and contributes to the city. You sound like a bunch of LA/Bay Area snobs.

We mostly do not dine in Mission Viejo either. I don't think requesting healthy food choices is making anyone a snob - just health conscious.

How do we contact the Chamber of Commerce for MV? Else please forward these requests for healthy food to them.
