Vibrant artwork pays homage to local artist

parkway gallery

Vibrant new artwork is on display at Mission Viejo’s Parkway Gallery as a tribute to local artist Gianni, who passed away in 2017.

Gianni began his life’s work at age 13 in the family business of studio photography and fine art framing. It was there that he learned techniques, composition, color, balance and the poetry of fine art.

Throughout his career, Gianni acquired a reputation as a creative force in the art arena. He was frequently called upon by living art legends to maximize the presentation and impact of their artwork, which led him to give voice to his own artistic endeavors. His art was created with an open mind, always pushing the limits beyond traditional techniques.

Along with his work as an artist, Gianni was a local business owner. He and his wife Wendy built Concept Framing International in Laguna Hills into a dynamic custom framing company that serves artists and area residents alike. They also formed DaVinci Digitale, a fine art printing company that produces reproductions for well-known artists throughout the country.

The exhibit of Gianni’s artwork will run through June.  The Parkway Gallery features art pilasters in the medians on Crown Valley Parkway and Marguerite Parkway.  For more information, contact arts@cityofmissionviejo.org
