Sweet, abandoned dog needs a loving home

geebee

One-year-old German Shepherd-mix GeeBee has a funny name but for a reason. When she was a newborn pup, the Mission Viejo Animal Services Center rescued her along with her 10 siblings and mom from a shelter in LA and named them after items you would find at a Thanksgiving feast.

Green Bean and the rest of her family were adopted into their forever homes. However, a year later, we discovered that Green Bean, now GeeBee, had been abandoned when her new family left the country for good.  It is hard to believe people would just leave their family member behind when they move, but this is what happened to poor GeeBee.

She is a great dog – happy, active, playful, and loving. At 72 pounds, she is a bit on the larger size, so her adopter should be used to big dogs and because of her size, she should not go to a home with toddlers.  She is friendly with all new people and dogs and would make a great running or hiking partner or new friend for an active dog.

GeeBee needs a little training, so her adoption will include a private training session sponsored by DAWG and her adoption fee is only $20 for an approved adopter.  GeeBee is a diamond in the rough that just requires love and consistency to turn her luck around.

ALWAYS HAD LARGE DOGS: ROTTY., DANES, SHEPHERD.
