Free Dump Day for Orange County residents Feb. 17 in Mission Viejo
The City of Mission Viejo and Caltrans are hosting a free Dump Day for Orange County residents on Saturday, February 17 at Mission Viejo City Hall from 8 to 11 am.
In an effort to keep our roadsides litter-free, Caltrans staff will collect your bulky waste that's too big to fit in residential garbage bins including mattresses, furniture and toys.
Items will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis until 11 am or until full capacity is reached (whichever is first). Attendees are encouraged to arrive early.
The following items will NOT be accepted:
- Hazardous materials (batteries, paints, oils, chemicals, pesticides, fluorescent lights, etc.)
- Concrete, dirt, rocks, brick, asphalt, or sand
- Treated wood
- Tires
