Caring Fairies return to Mission Viejo's Oso Creek Trail this month
Have you heard of the Caring Fairies? These magical beings will return to the region along the Oso Creek Trail on April 28.
The Caring Fairies, who made their debut a couple of years ago on Laguna Niguel's Aliso Summit Trail, were recently spotted flying around and exploring the Oso Creek Trail.
With picturesque oak trees, sycamores, a butterfly garden, mosaics, plant maze and rolling hills, the trail reminds the fairies of their rural homes in Ireland. Last week, Fairy Lily, Queen of The Fairies, left a note at the Potocki Center for the Arts announcing the fairies' return this month coinciding with Mission Viejo's Arts Alive & Street Painting Festival April 28-29 from noon to 5 p.m. at the Norman Murray Center and Oso Viejo Park.
About a mile of the Oso Creek Trail will be dotted with fairy homes for the public to visit and enjoy. You can follow the arrival of the new fairy homes through the Mission Viejo Friends of the Arts' website at www.missionviejoarts.org or Caring Fairies at www.caringfairies.com. The fairies' arrival will make way for new workshops at the Potocki Center for the Arts by resident "fairyologist" Andres Frank. Space is limited for the workshops catering to kids and adults, so register online today at https://cityofmissionviejo.org/departments/recreation/online-activity-registration.

My family and I have just
My family and I have just started walking the trail to not only get out of the house and get fresh air but also to get fit. We also love Pokémon Go. We went down to the trail 4/11/18 and saw these little fairy houses. They are the most incredible, unique and creative things I’ve seen in awhile. It was such an amazing surprise to see! Seeing them motivated my fambam and I to search for more and walk even further than we had planned! Who ever did this…nicely done.
I took my grandkids to look…
I took my grandkids to look for the fairy homes but did not find them. We started at the Oso trail off the parking on La Paz. Are they still there or can you provide a little more direction. we walked both trails on either side of the creek. Any help would be great.
Thank you,
Laura
