New Citizenship Test Tutoring starts Aug. 1

If you want to learn about becoming a naturalized citizen, head to the Mission Viejo Library next month for the next round of free tutoring sessions.

Beginning August 1, the sessions will take place each Wednesday from 10:30-11:30 a.m. at 100 Civic Center and will focus on filling out Form N-400 and studying for the civics portion of U.S. Naturalization Test. Additional study guides and other materials for new immigrants are also available at the library.

The Citizenship test tutoring is led by longtime resident, volunteer and Community of Character member Bob Hayes. Bob is a retired U.S. history and government teacher who has taught courses on the U.S. Constitution at the Norman P. Murray Community Center.

Seating is limited and registration is required. Contact Sandy Brimer at sbrimer@cityofmissionviejo.org to get started on your path to becoming a U.S. citizen.
